A huge thank you to the many Timberton neighbors who have stepped up to serve as board, committee, and team members. We now have a five-member Vegetation Management Committee and 17 volunteers on our VMC “work team.” Ten hardy souls came together Monday morning to clean up the Gazebo trail, which is now easily traversed. Others have already scrubbed our monuments, cleaned up much of the greenspace at the top of Timberton, and hauled away several trailers full of accumulated dead branches from both sides of Timberton Drive.
We also now have a two-member social team, three-member Finance Committee, six greeters, and one volunteer to fill our vacant board seat. We still need a few greeters and emergency management block captains and can always use more Vegetation Management Team members to help with the volunteer projects planned for this Fall and next Spring.
And, of course, we appreciate those of you who participate less formally by attending board meetings and helping your neighbors. What a great community! Thank you all!
