Please read the attached notice put out by Jefferson County. We have been at moderate fire risk since May 8, 2026, and this condition is expected to continue (or level be increased) through the summer. This level of fire danger means: “No recreational wood fires, no yard debris or land clearing burning, no open flame devices such as tiki torches, liquid fuel candles, or lanterns, no gas or propane fire weed burners.” The following are allowed, “Gas or propane fueled appliances, enclosed wood, pellet, charcoal, or solid fuel cooking at a private residence.”
